You Can Make a Difference

My April issue of SUCCESS Magazine arrived today.  I have to say, "I am like a kid in the candy store every month when it arrives."

"Hello, my name is Jesse Lopez and I'm an addict. I am addicted to learning."

Each month I read the entire magazine from cover to cover on the day it arrives.  I listen to the accompanying CD's over and over and over and over again.  I seek out a new tidbit each time I read an article or listen to a CD whether it's the first or tenth time.

I am not trying to pitch you on SUCCESS Magazine.  I am merely trying to convey the enthusiasm, excitement, and inspiration I receive from reading the magazine.

If you are a reader you likely know exactly what I am talking about.  If you have never read and are searching for success, whatever success means to you, might I suggest you pick up a copy?

I learn many, many . . . many things from each issue however here is a very small sample of something that really stuck out for me today.

You Can Make a Difference

Your business can be the tool for creating positive change for your customers--and possibly the world.

Hopefully you're convinced of the value your product or service provides.  But how do you relay that conviction in a way that inspires others to agree and act--to purchase your product or support your cause?  And then, how do get them to share their enthusiasm about you or your offering with others?
What profound insight, at least in my eyes.  It might seem like one of those, "no duh" scenarios but it is something that really made me think.

It made me search for an answer to question(s) I should have answers for, but don't.

I believe one might call this a learning experience . . . I like to think of it as evolution.

Jim Cathcart says, we should not think of our selves as Human Beings rather we should think of our selves as Human Becoming.  We are not "just being"; in a state of stasis but, rather we are dynamic.  We are in a constant state of evolution.  We are constantly becoming the next aspect of us.  We are expanding, it's what life is all about . . . life always seeks expansion.

It's an incredible feeling to acknowledge change in oneself.  To feel yourself becoming the person you know you should be.  We all tend to look back from time to time and wish, "If I only knew then what I know now."  Unfortunately yesterday is gone.  We can ponder what might have been or strive for what will become.

All success begins with definiteness of purpose, with a clear picture in your mind of precisely what you want from life.

The trick is figuring out what you want.  The sooner you can define what success means to you the quicker you can set out to achieve it.

In closing, remember, Learners are Earners and Earners are Learners.  Learn everything you can as quickly as you can - time is a perishable commodity.  We can't save it.  We can only spend it.  How you spend it is entirely up to you.
